What we offer

Services designed around every learner

Three areas of deep expertise — delivered with care, precision, and a commitment to the whole child.

Service 01

Educational Assessments

A great assessment is more than a score. It's a story — one that helps families, schools, and students understand how to move forward with clarity and confidence.

What it is

A comprehensive psychoeducational or academic evaluation that examines how a student processes, learns, and performs across multiple domains. We go well beyond standardized scores to understand the whole learner — their strengths, challenges, learning style, and the supports that will help them thrive.

Who it's for
  • Students who are struggling academically and need to understand why
  • Families seeking an independent evaluation outside of the school system
  • Students being considered for special education services or a 504 plan
  • Students who may be twice-exceptional (gifted and learning-different)
  • Schools needing an outside evaluator for complex or disputed cases
What to expect

01

Initial consultation

We begin with a conversation — learning about your child, your concerns, and your goals for the evaluation.

02

Comprehensive testing

A multi-session evaluation covering cognitive ability, academic achievement, processing, and social-emotional functioning as appropriate.

03

Detailed written report

A clear, jargon-free report with findings, diagnosis (if applicable), and specific, actionable recommendations for home and school.

04

Feedback session

We walk you through the results together — answering every question and making sure you leave with a clear picture of next steps.

Service 02

TVI & Vision Consultation

Students with visual impairments deserve educators and teams who truly understand their needs. Our TVI consultation brings specialized expertise directly to your student's support team.

What it is

Consultation and assessment services from a credentialed Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). We evaluate functional vision, recommend appropriate accommodations and assistive technology, support IEP development, and provide guidance to school teams working with students who have low vision or blindness.

Who it's for
  • Students with diagnosed visual impairments or low vision
  • IEP teams seeking TVI input or a second opinion
  • Schools without a full-time TVI on staff
  • Families navigating a new diagnosis and unsure where to start
  • Districts needing consultation for transition planning or assistive technology
Areas of support

Functional Vision Assessment

Evaluating how a student uses their available vision in real learning environments.

Learning Media Assessment

Determining the most appropriate reading and learning media — print, braille, or a combination.

Assistive technology

Recommending and supporting implementation of tools that expand access and independence.

IEP consultation

Reviewing goals, accommodations, and placement decisions with the student's team.

Service 03

Parent Support & Advocacy

The special education system can feel like a maze. We help families navigate it — with knowledge, confidence, and a clear sense of their child's rights.

What it is

One-on-one support for parents and caregivers at any stage of the special education journey. Whether you're preparing for your first IEP meeting, trying to understand an evaluation report, or feeling like your child's needs aren't being met — we're here to help you understand the process, know your rights, and advocate effectively.

Who it's for
  • Parents preparing for an IEP or 504 meeting
  • Families who received an evaluation report and need help understanding it
  • Parents who feel their child's needs are not being adequately addressed
  • Caregivers new to the special education system
  • Families considering due process or mediation
How we can help

IEP meeting preparation

Review documents, clarify your rights, and walk into the meeting ready to participate as an equal partner.

Report interpretation

We translate evaluation results into plain language — what the scores mean and what they don't.

Advocacy coaching

Learn how to communicate effectively with school teams and advocate for the services your child needs.

Ongoing consultation

Continued support as your child's needs evolve — from early intervention through transition planning.
